It is with a high sense of scientific responsibility that we announce the VII International Congress on Family Health Nursing, in partnership with the School of Health Sciences of the University of Algarve. This event brings together nursing education institutions, as well as various national and international organizations, with the aim of promoting the dissemination of scientific evidence in the field of Family Health Nursing.

The scientific program for this edition includes contributions from experts, divided into thematic panels that reflect structural challenges in family nursing care: diversity in care in a globalized world; documentation and policies for recording family nursing care; the implications of the digital age on family health, among others. These areas of reflection allow for a deeper understanding of the transformations underway in the field of family health and promote evidence-based approaches that are integrated and sensitive to the complexity of social, cultural, and environmental determinants.

In addition, the congress includes workshops aimed at developing clinical and research skills, making an important contribution to the consolidation of Family Health Nursing practices. These training sessions reinforce the link between research, practice, and theory.

We would also like to highlight the 2nd Meeting of Master’s Students in Family Health Nursing, designed as a space for academic dialogue, sharing experiences, presenting projects, and strengthening collaborative networks. The active participation of students in this meeting contributes to the development of critical thinking, the promotion of emerging research, and the integration of new generations of nurses specializing in Family Health Nursing into the scientific community.

This congress thus represents an opportunity to foster the production of scientific knowledge and promote excellence in the provision of care to families. We hope that this meeting will result in significant contributions to the development of Family Health Nursing, both nationally and internationally.
